Here is the second piece of my tea-themed greeting cards (Check out the first). I got these lovely buttons from Britain and decided to create a collection of greeting cards based on this lovely-lovely drink. I used a piece of 300 g watercolour paper and the beautiful wooden button. The teapot and the text are both 100% handmade as well as the sewing.
Much as I love tea, my tea-taste has gone through a long evolution, starting from drinking various fruit-teas with plenty of sugar and lemon, to drinking (almost) only plain black, green and white teas, either with nothing in it, or with some milk or cream in the case of English breakfast and Darjeeling. I have learned to be utterly snobbish where tea is concerned…

I’ve felt for some time that the blog was outgrowing tumblr, but I just didn’t know what the next step should be. I dreamed of a flashy homepage, but the deeper I dwelled in the mysteries of webdesign the more I realised: I haven’t reached this point just yet. So I compromised on this new page – which I have learned to like a lot. The new features you can find are:
